Our mission
The grappling community has always shown up for its own.
Tap Cancer Out has spent over a decade turning the jiu-jitsu community’s grit into support for people facing cancer—funding research, covering treatment costs, and standing with patients and their families when it matters most.
Global Grappling Day channels that same spirit into one unified day: thousands of grapplers across hundreds of academies, all rolling for the same hour, all raising money for the same fight.

What is Global Grappling Day?
A worldwide one-hour rolling challenge that brings the jiu-jitsu community together to raise money for Tap Cancer Out.
Do I need to be a competitive grappler to join?
No. Grapplers of every experience level can participate. Choose a safe pace and training partner for your one-hour roll.
Is there a cost to register?
There is no academy hosting fee. Registration and campaign details are available through Tap Cancer Out.
What does my academy need to do?
Open the mats, share the registration link, and give your members space and encouragement to complete the challenge.
How do fundraising perks work?
As your fundraising total reaches each milestone, you unlock the corresponding reward. Campaign terms apply.
